When can I trade US stocks?
During the regular US session: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM New York time, which is about 7:00 PM – 1:30 AM IST (8:00 PM – 2:30 AM when the US is on standard time). Orders placed outside these hours queue and execute at the open.
How is the rupee value calculated?
Each fill is converted at the live USD/INR rate. Because your position is valued at today's rate, a stronger dollar adds to your rupee P&L and a weaker dollar reduces it — just like real overseas investing.
Can I short US stocks?
No — US stocks are traded like a cash (delivery) account: you can sell only shares you hold.
Are there charges?
US stock paper trades are free of brokerage by default. Real overseas investing involves remittance charges and TCS, which are not simulated.
