How the PPF Calculator works
The Public Provident Fund is a 15-year government-backed savings scheme with yearly deposits of up to ₹1.5 lakh. Interest is compounded annually; the rate is set by the government every quarter.
The calculator assumes each deposit is made at the start of the year.
